Mark J. Larson Assistant General Manager, CFO and Risk Manager Mark J. Larson, CPA is Assistant General Manager, CFO and Risk Manager for the Florida Municipal Power Agency, a position he has held since November 2002. Prior to his recent position, he was FMPA's Director of Finance and CFO for two years. Larson has 25 years of experience in municipal utility finance. Larson is a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Government Finance Officers, and the Government Finance Officers Association of U.S. and Canada.

Larson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree from North Texas State University, now known as University of North Texas, and a master’s degree in public administration from East Carolina University. He also holds the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the state of North Carolina.
