Rebecca Mattey is the Director for Ocala Electric Utility, Fla., and she serves as the elected Chairperson of the Florida Municipal Power Agency Executive Committee.

Mattey has served as the Director of Ocala Electric Utility since 2004. Prior to joining the city of Ocala, she served seven years as the Director of Public Works and Utilities for Camden, S.C.

Mattey was elected as FMPA’s Executive Committee Chairperson in July 2007. Previously, she served as the chairperson of the All-Requirements Project Committee and the Governance Committee. Mattey has also served on the Board of Directors since 2004.

Mattey has more than 11 years of experience in the municipal electric industry. She is a registered professional engineer in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Illinois. Mattey holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University.
