FMPA Launches Redesigned Web Site
ORLANDO,
Fla., May 1, 2003 – Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA)
launched a redesigned Web site on May 1. The revised site
incorporates new features and reflects a recent update of
FMPA’s communication materials in connection with its
25th anniversary. The site address is www.fmpa.com.
The focal
point of the new site is a one-minute animated movie on the
homepage that explains the community-power benefits of FMPA’s
members and the statewide-strength benefits of FMPA. The “Community
Power. Statewide Strength.” message is the theme of
FMPA’s year-long silver anniversary celebration.
The site
also features enhancements to help visitors navigate the site.
For example, the homepage features an expanded “What’s
New” section with links to the site’s latest postings.
Also, each section of the site features a link on the right-hand
side that suggests additional information visitors may find
of interest in other areas of the site.
As before,
the site features FMPA’s latest news, financial reports,
information about FMPA’s members, projects and services,
employment opportunities at FMPA and its 29 member cities,
meeting notices, a virtual office tour and more.
The
new site was designed by Merge Inc., an Atlanta-based communications
and interactive agency, and programmed by FMPA staff.
