Announces Other Changes
ORLANDO,
Fla., May 5, 2006 – Florida Municipal Power
Agency (FMPA) announced several organizational changes to
enhance the operational effectiveness of FMPA’s staff.
The most significant change is the creation of a new division
combining the Public Relations, Human Resources and Administrative
Services functions.
Mark
McCain, formerly FMPA’s Public Relations/Public
Affairs Manager, will oversee the new division as Assistant
General Manager, Public Relations and Human Resources.
The division formerly known as Member and Administrative
Services will be renamed to reflect its focus on Member Services
and the growing responsibilities of Information Systems.
Tom Reedy will continue to lead this division as Assistant
General Manager, Member Services and Information Systems.
Several other organizational changes were also announced.
Sharon Adams, formerly Acting Human Resources Manager, was
promoted to Human Resources/Administrative Services Manager.
Stacey Adams, formerly Payroll Benefits Coordinator, was
promoted to Human Resources Assistant.
All
changes will be accomplished within FMPA’s existing
budget for salaries and benefits and within the same number
of authorized staff positions.
“As we make these transitions, I look forward to continuing
improvements in the service FMPA provides to its member cities
and to FMPA’s effectiveness and efficiency as an organization,” said
FMPA General Manager and CEO Roger Fontes.
