FMPA
Treasury Manager Among Nation’s Best
ORLANDO,
Fla., March 6, 2007 — Janet Davis, treasury manager
for Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA), was named one of
the nation’s top 300 professionals in treasury and finance
by the Association of Financial Professionals.
Selection
was based on strict criteria including knowledge of corporate
finance, treasury management and financial reporting. In addition,
all candidates were required to have earned the Certified
Treasury Professional/Certified Cash Manager designation as
proof of industry knowledge.
Davis
was selected from among 100,000 finance professionals nationwide.
Davis
is the treasury manager for FMPA, a position she has held
since 2000. Prior to her current position, Davis was FMPA’s
Senior Financial Services Analyst. She holds a bachelor’s
degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
The Association
for Financial Professionals (AFP) supports more than 15,000
individual members from a wide range of industries throughout
all stages of their careers in various aspects of treasury
and financial management. AFP is the preferred resource for
financial professionals for continuing education, financial
tools and publications, career development, certifications,
research, representation to legislators and regulators, and
the development of industry standards.
